Limited edition printed for private distribution in 1980 precedes the 1981 numbered edition of 300 copies.
The farms Rustenberg-Schoongezicht and Glenbawn nestle in the Idas valley a few kilometres out of Stellenbosch while Vergelegen is situated in the Hottents Holland valley. The first farms were owned by Peter Barlow, and the latter by well-known Punch Barlow.
