Alan D. Elsdon
Published by The Author, South Africa (2011)
A docudrama-style book about Hendrik van den Bergh who was South Africa's Chief of the Bureau of State Security or BOSS. The book gives a potted history of South Africa and then provides a fictionalised account of the activities of the Apartheid government at the height of its power. Elsdon, a former SA Police cryptographer and security expert in Central Africa, states that the book is a work of fiction based on historical facts and events. It is disquietingly believable.
