The Bride of the Wind (Die Windsbraut) (or The Tempest) is a 1913-1914 oil on canvas painting by Oskar Kokoschka. It is housed in the Kunstmuseum Basel. Kokoschka's best known work, it is an allegorical picture featuring a self-portrait by the artist, lying alongside his lover Alma Mahler.

For your consideration please note the beautiful art print I have for sale.  I purchased this print and others (please see my other auctions) at an estate auction.    The print is vivid  in clarity, color  and texture.  It is in excellent condition.  It was produced for the Metropolitan Museum of Art for its Seminars in Art series.  The page (print and description) height is +-31cm and width is 24cm.  The picture/print height is 26cm and width is 20.5cm.
