Produced by Giorgio Moroder and Harold Faltermeyer, 3D sees The Three Degrees move confidently into slick early-80s Euro-disco territory. The production is polished, synth-driven and dancefloor-focused very much in line with Moroder's signature electronic style.

Standout track "Jump The Gun" delivers a strong disco groove with layered harmonies, while "Red Light" brings a tighter, club-oriented energy. "Set Me Free" continues the upbeat momentum, and on side two, "Starlight" and "My Simple Heart" showcase the trio's smooth vocal blend over shimmering electronic arrangements.

This is not their 70s Philadelphia soul era it's a transition into modern, continental disco-pop production. That makes it particularly appealing to collectors of Moroder-related releases and 80s dance vinyl.
