Medium: Acrylic
Size of painting without matboard: 20cm X 20cm
Size of painting with matboard: 40cm X 40cm
Matboard: Crescent (Olde Grey) with a V-groove.
 
 
 
 
The painting was done on prepared hardboard (supawood). The painting was varnished to protect the painting and prevent any discolouring. The matboard is fasten with a few drops of glue and very thin double sided tape. The matboard can be removed by a framer to fit an other colour that would better complement the frame that is selected and/or the interior of the room where the painting will be displayed.
 
The artist has been painting for several years and her work is currently on display in galleries in and around Cape Town (South Africa). She prefers to work with acrylic as medium to portray bright colourful paintings.
