Hardcover Digby's Indian and Colonial Library edition, published by Digby, Long & Co, undated but possibly 1899 to 1902, no jacket. The boards are marked and worn in places, and the spine is sunned, and cocked. The top external pages are shelf-soiled. There are three stamps to the first end-papers, those of a previous owner twice, and Central News Agency Standerton once. The owner's stamp appears again on the inside rear board, and a few times more within the book. The last page of the publisher's advertising (Major Arthur Griffiths "A Bid for Empire") is torn half way up along the spine. These pages are tanned, but the rest are clean and unmarked.
