Very rarely seen for sale locally, this 7 disc deluxe set features 6 CDs and 1 DVD, presented in a 12" sized hardcover book with 80 pages of libretto, interviews, photos of memorabilia and releases, along with detailed info on all the bonus material.

Jeff Wayne's iconic musical masterpiece based on the HG Wells story, The War of the Worlds needs no introduction.

Featuring vocals from Justin Hayward (The Moody Blues), Phil Lynott, Julie Covington and Richard Burton as the narrator throughout.

The heavy hardboard covers house 3 discs in the front (the original album across 2 discs and the 3rd containing a host of remixes from 1979 to 2005) and 4 in the back (3 discs of alternate versions, outtakes, foreign language versions, demos and more and the last disc a DVD containing a 90minute in-depth documentary looking back at the album and never-before-seen CGI footage).

The 80-pages inside the book features amongst others the full text to the album, bios on all the artists, never-before-seen conceptual art for the album, photos of various releases from around the world, along with detailed info on all the tracks featured across discs 3 to 6.

A real treasure for any fan of the album, this is really a nice addition to any collection.

All pages intact, nothing loose, all sleeves housing the discs intact with no tears.

Spine intact with no damage, though the top and bottom right on the open end shows slight signs of scuffing.
