Semi-abstract painting with strong form & rich texture. The idea was to take something very ordinary and give it a touch of magic..

Mixed media (acrylic paint, cloth, tobacco, charcoal) on masonite board, back-mounted with wooden frame. All cloth is firmly attached to the rest of the painting, ie. no loose pieces. Sides are painted so no frame is required. Size approx. 1.5x0.5m, by Anne Brock, 2006
