"First English Edition. 200 pages of mainly black & white (some colour) photographs of the history, daily work and performances of the Spanish Riding School of Vienna. A comprehensive record of the school under Podhajsky's directorship (lasting a quarter century) during and following the second world war. An english translation by Frances Hogarth-Gaute of "Triumph der Lipizzaner" published in 1962 by Nyphenburger Verlagshandlung.

Alois Podhajsky was the director of the Spanish Riding School in Vienna, Austria as well as an Olympic medal-winner in dressage, riding instructor, and writer. Founded in 1572, the school's main focus was the training of Lipizzan horses in the art of Classical dressage."

Condition = Reasonably Good. Some lightly scuffed corners and dust jacket has plastic cover.
