Some of Pieter's Paintings

About the artist.

Pieter van Heerden was born and raised in Gauteng, South Africa. After Military service and further studies in theology, the longing to become an artist was so strong that he decided to attend private art classes. Since 1996 art has become his passion and he enjoys doing art in different themes. Success has not come easy to Pieter but he now has paintings in private collections in Europe, America and Australia, as well as South Africa of course. His clear direct approach, with an element of the surreal, has a modern and uncomplicated appeal.
