The Dust Jacket is an illustrated blue monochrome in gloss, plain endpapers and differently numbered illustrated text, with art of the pages of "The Art Journal" and other material. The book is bound in blue cloth-boards, with the title silver-lettered to front and spine, of a facsimile edition prepared from "The Art Journal", published in London by H Virtue & Co in 1900. The text of the new edition is by A C R Carter and annotations by Steve Lunderstedt.
