Condition is very good indeed, restored to near fine condition with strengthened binding. Superb full leather tree calf with decorated gilt border dentelles in and outside boards. Gilt decorated spine has five raised bands and title label. All leaf edges in bright heavy gilt. Original bright marbled endpapers. Content remarkably clean with NO foxing. Neat contemporary name dated 1896 on front free endpaper. Hinge splits on spine fully repaired and strengthened by experienced book restorer such that binding tight. The "Albion" Edition.  bbi
