Body Temperature Measurement 

This infrared thermometer provides an easy and reliable way to measure body temperature for all your family. It measures at a distance of 5-15 cm from the forehead, and displays the reading with an accuracy of 0.4 °F (0.2 °C) within a second. 

In this body temperature mode, the thermometer is automatically calibrated to convert the forehead surface temperature to the internal body temperature. This non-contact measurement will never disturb or irritate your unwell baby or child, and can also reduce the chances of cross contamination between users.

The thermometer will beep to give a fever alarm if the measured body temperature is above the Fever Alarm Temperature, 100.4 °F (38.0 °C) by default and adjustable in the menu. For accuracy, we recommend taking the measurement at least 30 minutes after exercise or bath and removing any sweat or cosmetics from the forehead. 

Object Temperature Measurement 

This versatile infrared thermometer is also able to measure the temperatures of household objects in a range of 32-212 °F (0-100 °C). Now you can check the temperature of your hot beverage without a touch, and get the reading instantly through a click.

Please note that in this object temperature mode, the thermometer measures the object surface temperature only and does not measure the object core temperature. 

Various Convenient Features 

This thermometer features a large backlit LCD screen for you to read with ease even in dark environments. The memory of the thermometer stores up to 32 body temperature readings and 32 object temperature readings for reference and tracking.

Furthermore, you may set a Temperature Deviation value in the menu for temperature compensation if the readings of this thermometer show a systematic error in certain environments.
