MID TO LATE 1800's, AN ANTIQUE SANDUSKY STYLE DOUBLE SCREW ARM PLOW PLANE WITH MACHINE TURNED WOOD KNOBS AND COGS FOR ADJUSTING THE TWO HALVES (FORMING A TYPE OF VICE) AS WELL AS A BRASS WING NUT ON THE OTHER SIDE. THE CHISEL/PLANE IS INSERTED AND ADJUSTED WITH A WOODEN STRUT AND PROTRUDES ON THE SIDE OF THE BRASS WING NUT WHERE METAL (STEEL) FRAME ALSO FORMS A STRUT FOR THE PLANE/CHISEL

SINCE I AM NOT FAMILIAR WITH THIS ITEM IT IS DIFFICULT TO DESCRIBE. NEEDLESS TO SAY THOUGH, RESEARCH RE THE PLOW PLANE SHOWS ALL OPERATIONAL PARTS PRESENT AND IN PERFECT CONDITION INCLUDING THE BLADE/CHISEL/PLANE ITSELF

THE ITEM IS MADE FROM WOOD, BRASS AND STEEL. THE ITEM IS BETTER KNOWN AS A "SCREW ARM SASH FILLESTER" AND IS EXTREMELY RARE AND COLLECTABLE.
