This Phenomenal 42cm Highly Collectable Piece comes from the CHALET STUDIO in Canada - Marked

The Chalet Studio in Canada went through many changes over the years, but this piece is hand blown around 1960, before Murano came and had some influence on their work. The signature is also the original first signature used. Chalet also liked to use bold colours and this blue is beautiful. They say everything is bigger in USA (specifically Texas), well this must count for Canada as well, because Chalet pieces were always big and bold and this Swan shows it. These Chalet pieces, especially the early pieces, are highly collectable. This piece has a few bubbles and the cutter mark where the glass was snipped off. Otherwise it seems to have done pretty well with tong marks (Canadians must have amazing lung capacity). This piece will only grow in value!!!
