A rare and highly collectible Thomas Baines Centenary Limited Edition Set, No. 63 of 100, produced in collaboration with Books of Rhodesia (1975). This exclusive set celebrates the life and work of Thomas Baines, the renowned explorer, artist, and gold prospector in colonial southern Africa.

Set Includes:
4 Sterling Silver Medallions (30 grams each) in very good condition, accompanied by a Certificate of Guarantee.
Obverse: Thomas Baines self-portrait on horseback, signed "TW."
Reverse: Ox wagon crossing a river, inspired by Baines' watercolour "Klass Smit's River, Queenstown District, Wagon Broken Down," signed "M.M.CO."
Paperback Booklet by Louis W. Bolze detailing the life of Thomas Baines.
Two First-Day Covers with South African and Rhodesian stamps.
Original paper-covered presentation folder housing the coins, booklet, and covers.

Condition Notes:
The coins and booklet are in excellent condition.
