Thomas Hacking was born in Lancashire, England in 1932.
While still in his early teens he won a North England art competition. His talent thus being recognised he therafter attended an Art School in England.
The early 50's saw Thomas emmigrating to South Africa where he found great inspiration from and developed a great love for African landscapes and Wildlife which he expressed through his art.
His art works were commissioned by The Prime Minister of Rhodesia (present day Zimbabwe), the Orange Free State Administration and numerous other Societies
His art has been exhibited internationally in the USA, Europe, Australia and Zimbabwe.
