Thornton Cast Metal Grocer Scale

On offer this lovely vintage scale by FL Thornton (Birmingham), it stands 23cm tall, 44cm wide and 28cm from front to back. A heavy item weighing 11kg. With applied metal label "FL Thornton & co, Birmingham England, Capacity 30lb". The side where groceries would be placed on has been enameled, a few uneven spots/chips on the edges of the enamel, otherwise in good vintage condition.
