These pouches stand about 12cms high. They are sewn shut, (one has staples in) and appear to have stones inside. I have googled and questioned people far and wide - no one knows what they are.

People have guessed

*pouch for marbles (unlikely, as they cannot open).

* jukskei tipe game

*doorstops

And then the theory I like most:

*They could have been used as the object picked up in a tent pegging event.

Very hard to put a value to them....
