Three volume set complete, hardcovers with their dust jackets. Name in ink in front of each. 

Trees of Southern Africa covering all known indigenous species in the Republic of South Africa, South-West Africa, Botswana, Lesotho & Swaziland.

Original red cloth bindings with gilt titling on the spines and the publisher's decorative device on the upper boards. Volume 1 has xv prelims and is paginated to page number 703 and volume two continues the pagination from 704 to page number 1479 and volume three ends at page number 2235. Each volume has 8 full page colour plates, giving a total of 24. Each volume is profusely illustrated with black and white photographic images as well as line drawings, etc.

A set in good secondhand condition, thought the stain mark on the outer bottom corner, measuring around 1 cm x 1.5 cm, not affecting the text at all.
