Number 611 of only 2000 copies of the First Edition First Impression translation by Thomas Common. The spine still has bright gilt, but is a bit sunned and has slight wear on the extremities. Front board blindstamped with portrait of Nietzsche has light stains. There are three small stamps inside front board and on the front free endpaper, two of which are library withdrawal stamps. There are no other library markings on the book. Outer leaves and edges a bit foxed. Binding tight. Part of the first complete and authorised translation of the complete works of Friedrich Nietzsche.
