WHAT IS TIBETAN SILVER? It is a type of silver from tibet which is used in many of their jewellery. There is a base metal of, usually, copper; their may also be other impurities. It is also made up of at least 20% silver. It is never hallmarked and can be come dark. TAKING CARE OF YOUR TIBETAN JEWELLERY? 

The best way to take care of your Tibetan silver jewellery is to buff with a cloth or if it needs a little bit more persuasion an old toothbrush and some unperfumed soap to bring back the colour. As with any jewellery, do not spray perfume directly on it, as it will dis-colour because of the alcohol.
