This vintage piece is so pretty - who doesn't love a long stemmed rose? Featuring a Baltic amber gemstone carved into a rosebud that has started to unfurl, held in a sterling silver petals on a long stem with textured rose leaves, the flower has been beautifully captured by the jeweller. The Baltic amber has a particularly deep honey orange colour, with the tints and tones of the inclusions within the gemstone adding to the beauty of the piece. The brooch is fairly substantial, measuring 49mm wide x 14mm long and fastens with a good strong brooch pin. The piece weighs 3,71 grams and is beautifully crafted. The Baltic amber is Baltic amber from Poland and a little certificate to that effect will accompany the piece. A beautiful, elegant piece.
