"The beautiful little Overberg village of Wolvengat, is home to well known South African artists Wim and Tina de Roubaix. Wim & Tina attended Pretoria Art School from 1967 - 1970, and have been professional artists ever since. They are both listed in the "Directory of South African Artists". Together they have exhibited extensively throughout South Africa, Germany & the USA.Their work appears in private & corporate collections all over the world.Wim is a multifaceted artist whose work covers a large variety of mediums & subjects, including African Tribes, landscapes, nudes, portraits, garden studies and the Ballet. He is also known for bronze sculpture.Tina has created a unique style combining batik with watercolours, pastels, gold leaf and plant materia. Her work is based on nature and is characterised by dreamy African Landscapes and old world flowers.After 18 years in Nottingham Road, KwaZulu Natal, where they co-founded the Midlands Meander route map, this married couple have produced a unique range of art since the 1970's. Wim has held exhibitions regularly in Germany. You are invited to visit the De Roubaix Gallery on their farm "Lillywood" in the village of Wolvengat, past Hermanus, Stanford & Gaansbaai off the R43."
