Notes

Internet research reveals that Tucher & Walter of Nürnberg Germany have specialised in tinplate toys since the 1970's, initially repairing and restoring and later making their own. From what I have seen online these can sell for quite a bit. While not Pre WWII vintage, this item does appear to be the real deal and not some Chinese repro. I would be happy to learn more from an expert in tinplate, if i have misconstrued this toys providence.

This toy comes as a kit so requires some minor assembly. It runs on a friction flywheel mechanism.
