Tissot PRS 516 Automatic Chronograph – Valjoux, Tachymeter, Rally Strap

Tissot PRS 516 automatic chronograph with Valjoux movement, white/silver dial, black tachymeter bezel and brown racing leather strap with Tissot deployant clasp. Classic motorsportinspired chrono with day/date and seethrough caseback.

Brushed stainless steel case with polished details and black tachymetre bezel (60400 scale). White / light silver textured dial with applied hour markers, bright blue central chronograph seconds hand and three subdials: two black square chronograph counters at 12 and 6, plus small running seconds at 9. Day/date window at 3 currently displaying THU 4. Dial signed Tissot 1853 under 12, with PRS 516 and automatic above the 6 subdial, 100m/330ft to the right and Swiss Made at the bottom edge.

Sapphire display caseback showing the goldtoned rotor marked PRS 516 (516 in red), Valjoux, Tissot 1853 and 25 Jewels Swiss Made. Caseback ring engraved Sapphire Crystal, Chronograph, Automatic and WaterResistant 100m. Case, bezel and lugs show normal surface scratches and small marks from wear.

Fitted to a brown perforated rally leather strap with light contrast stitching and Tissot signed stainless steel deployant clasp. Strap shows creasing, darkening and wear around the holes but is still fully wearable. Deployant and case show light scuffs from use.

Automatic Valjouxbased chronograph movement, running with chronograph functions operating at time of listing. Service history is unknown; as with any vintage automatic chronograph, a routine service is recommended for optimal accuracy and reliability. Water resistance has not been pressuretested and is not guaranteed. No box or papers.
