titanic......in memoriam

amazing fretwork....must have been done near one hundred years back....because the velvet backing was the type available then and not now....and has been near worn away by cleaning, as only velvet wears....also this was the type of once off work done at that time, before the fickle & frivolous . size 470 x 360mm

all wood, obviously i suppose if fretwork, but i do mention this specifically as it does look metallic.
