Scotty Cameron has long been one of the most recognized putter designers in the industry, in fact, he is probably right up there with Karsten Solheim, the guy behind the first Ping Anser.

The Newport 2 Stainless is a plumber neck hosel and a straight heel toe blade putter. It has a very sleek and clean look to it with a small oblong octagon on the putter face that is stainless steel with a vibration absorbing pad and elastomer cushion behind it. This gives the putter a firm feel to it while still having something to soften impact and to allow the ball to roll rather than skip off the face. The putter head is milled from a single piece of studio stainless steel, which provides consistency within the metal and gives excellent feedback. club will sit dead square when placed behind the ball thanks to a draft sole design.
