Published by Hodder & Stoughton in Great Britain, 1974, hardcover. The jacket is whole, but is rubbed and worn particularly along the top edge, which also has a thin line of staining visible on the reverse. The boards are square, with some wear and bumps to the edges. The first free end paper has a date and the name of a previous owner written neatly in pen. The rear free end paper has a "shadow' of the jacket, and some small patches of staining, similar to whatever marked the jacket. The collective top of the pages is discoloured, but otherwise the pages are clean and undamaged. The author was the Lunar Module pilot of the Apollo 15 missions, and the 8th person to walk on the moon. He has signed the half title page of this book, which also has a light "shadow" cast from the jacket flap. "This book is a thrilling account of one of the greatest adventures of all time - man's journey to the moon. More significantly, it is also the inspiring story of one man's journey to faith in the God of the Universe. Astronaut Jim Irwin has a unique and challenging story to tell, and I predict his book will be an inspiration to thousands." - Billy Graham.
