N.B
Some units of the new GO range have experienced a bug where the unit automatically switches off when the car has gone over a bump in the road. This can be solved by downloading a software update through TomTom home.
Solution
A new application (version 6.11) has been made available. When this application is installed on your device, this issue is solved. We recommend that all of our users always update to the latest application using TomTom HOME, so they always have the latest features and the best performance on their TomTom device.
How to install the new application?
Anyone owning a GO 910, GO 710 or GO 510 can connect their device to TomTom HOME. It will automatically download the latest application from the TomTom website and install it on their device.
Customers who are experiencing difficulties are advised to contact TomTom Customer Support, via the support pages of the TomTom website (www.tomtom.com/support) or by telephone.
