Tomatillo Verde Organic - 15 Seeds

Tomatillo Verde is an early tomatillo variety. It has a deep green colour with a tart flavour when they are young. They become sweeter as they ripen.

It is a bushy, sprawling plant that grows to 122cm tall and wide, growing on a trellis is advised.

Tomatillo plants are perennial but are often grown as an annual. It is a good source of antioxidants and cancer-fighting compounds. Once Tomatillos Verdes are removed from their husk, they should be washed to remove the slightly sticky film from the skins surface. Fresh Tomatillos in their husks will stay fresh when refrigerated in a paper bag for up to 2 weeks.
