This heirloom strain was obtained by Tomato collector Ben Quisberry in 1980 from Doris Sudduth Hill whose family grew it for over 100 years in USA. It is a large pink beefsteak and said to be the perfect tomato. The tomatoes are juicy, meaty and have a wonderful intense tomato flavor. A taste to die for. Brandywine tomatoes can bear fruit up to 700 grams.
