The Red Pear Tomato plant produces an old-fashioned, pear-shaped tomato, sometimes called the Bottle Tomato or Fig Tomato. The bright red fruits are favorites for making preserves. Fruits are extra large for a cherry variety, producing abundant crops of 55 gram fruits that are up to 5cm long. Most people agree that they are flavorful and sweet and the perfect snacking tomato. It takes 78 Days to mature. This small, red pear shaped tomato makes a very nice salad garnish.
