 Vine type plants produce round fruits that are meaty with a red interior and skin that changes from green to yellow as the fruit ripens. The plants grow to about 80cm in height and this tomato is especially know for it's long storage capability.  The fruit can reportedly be kept up to 5 months and can ripen in storage. This heirloom was originally bred at the Timirjazev Agricultural Academy in Russia.
