Botanical name: Solanum lycopersicum

An Italian Heirloom tomato. These are also a beefsteak type of tomato. Their growing habit is indeterminate, they will grow and produce continuously, if they are well looked after. For best results, providing support for these plants will help keep them upright, and keep them producing. It is a highly productive variety, with a semi scalloped shape. They ripen to a deep red, and sometimes have a touch of purple on them. Tomato plants are frost sensitive. Harvest 16 to 20 weeks. Start indoors to get a head start on growing season.
