Beware of people selling "perfect" black diamonds on line - mostly they are Moissanite. I have sold gems for over 7 years and seen many genuine black diamonds.
Genuine black diamonds usually have small pits, cracks and other imperfections that can usually be seen with the naked eye and certainly in magnified pictures. If they look perfect, they are probably not diamond! Perfect black diamonds are rare, cost HUGE amounts and are not generally sold on line - usually at upmarket jewelers like Tiffany's etc.
The gems weigh a total of 2.98 Cts (1.49 Cts each) and measure 7.6 & 7.7 mm each.(As a pair of ear rings and in a setting, this 0.1mm difference in diameter will not be noticeable.
