Mini Engraving Cutter

Shape: Ball
Tip Diameter: Ø2.4mm
Shank Diameter: Ø2.4mm

This Mini Engraving Cutter is a specialized precision tool engineered for creators who require a slightly broader
stroke without sacrificing fine control. Featuring a 2.4mm ball-shaped head, it is the ideal choice for creating
uniform, rounded channels, concave depressions, and smooth relief carvings. The spherical design ensures that the
cutter removes material consistently regardless of the angle, providing a seamless experience for freehand
detailing.

The 2.4mm diameter of the head offers increased surface contact compared to smaller bits, making it highly effective
for rounding off sharp internal edges or hollowing out small areas in a variety of materials. It performs
exceptionally well on hardwoods, plastics, and soft metals, allowing for bold engraving lines that remain clean and
professional in appearance.

Engineered for seamless integration, this tool features a 2.4mm shank that matches its head diameter. This matching
profile provides a streamlined silhouette that improves line-of-sight during operation. The shank is designed to fit
securely into standard rotary tool collets, ensuring a concentric spin that virtually eliminates 'chatter' and
vibration, even at higher speeds.

Durability is at the core of this cutter's design. Built to withstand the heat and friction of high-speed rotation,
it retains its cutting edge through extensive use. Whether you are a jeweler refining a casting, a model builder
shaping components, or a hobbyist etching a custom design, this 2.4mm ball cutter delivers the reliability and
smooth finish your craftsmanship deserves.

Fitting the tool bit

The shank is securely locked in place by fitting
it in the corresponding collet or making use of a keyless chuck.

For improved accuracy, make use of a flexible
shaft connected to the rotary tool.

Rotation speed:

Most rotary tools have the benefit to adjust the rotation speed. Many tool bits that fit in rotary tools have a maximum speed setting. This can normally be found on the packaging.

All materials react differently to speed and will need the tool bit to rotate slower.
It is recommended to start using accessories on the slower speed first, before increasing the speed as needed.

The diameter of the tool bit fitted also determines the rotation speed. The larger the diameter, the slower the speed. If the speed is set too high, it could bend the shank/shaft resulting in injury.
