Mini Flap Wheel

Shank Diameter: Ø3.2mm
Wheel Diameter: Ø29.5mm
Width: 5mm
Grit: 120

This Mini Flap Wheel is the ultimate precision tool for those who need a delicate touch in the narrowest of spaces.
Featuring a 29.5mm diameter and a slim 5.0mm profile, this wheel is specifically designed to slide into thin slots,
grooves, and tight recesses that standard-width wheels simply cannot reach. Its slender design makes it a favorite
for jewelers, model makers, and precision machinists.

The 120 grit abrasive provides a medium-fine finish, striking the perfect balance between effective material removal
and surface refinement. It is ideal for light deburring, cleaning up small solder joints, or removing surface
discoloration without altering the underlying geometry of your workpiece. Whether you are working on metal, wood, or
delicate composites, this grit ensures a smooth, uniform result that requires minimal follow-up polishing.

Equipped with a standard 3.2mm (1/8') shank, this tool is ready to go with your Dremel or any high-speed rotary
tool. The shank is manufactured to high tolerances to ensure smooth rotation at high speeds, reducing hand fatigue
and allowing for extreme accuracy during intricate tasks. Its compact size doesn't sacrifice performance, providing
steady control for both flat and curved surfaces.

The wheel's unique construction features high-quality abrasive flaps arranged in a radial pattern around a central
core. As you work, these flaps flex to adapt to the workpiece's shape, providing a soft, forgiving cut that prevents
over-sanding. The self-sharpening nature of the flaps ensures that as the top layer wears away, fresh abrasive is
exposed, maintaining a consistent cut rate throughout the life of the tool.

Fitting the tool bit

The shank of the rotary cutter is securely locked in place by fitting
it in the corresponding collet or making use of a keyless chuck.

For improved engraving accuracy, make use of a flexible
shaft connected to the rotary engraver.

Rotation speed:

Most rotary tools have the benefit to adjust the rotation speed. Many tool bits that fit in rotary tools have a maximum speed setting. This can normally be found on the packaging.

All materials react differently to speed and will need the tool bit to rotate slower.
It is recommended to start using accessories on the slower speed first, before increasing the speed as needed.

The diameter of the tool bit fitted also determines the rotation speed. The larger the diameter, the slower the speed. If the speed is set too high, it could bend the shank/shaft resulting in injury.
