Mini Rubber Polishing Point

Shank Diameter: Ø2.4mm
Tip Diameter: Ø6.4mm
Shape: Bullet

This Mini Rubber Polishing Point features a distinct bullet-shaped head, specifically designed for high-precision
smoothing and pre-polishing. The tapered, aerodynamic profile allows you to transition seamlessly from broad surface
blending to detailed work in tight radii and concave areas, making it an essential tool for jewelers and fine-scale
hobbyists.

Crafted with a 6.4mm tip diameter, this point offers a generous abrasive surface that maintains excellent stability
during high-speed rotation. The bullet geometry is ideal for reaching the interior of rings or the curved channels
of intricate metalwork, providing a consistent finish without leaving the harsh 'dig' marks often associated with
harder abrasive stones.

The tool is mounted on a standard 2.4mm shank, ensuring it fits perfectly into most micromotors, flexible shaft
machines, and rotary handpieces. This universal sizing makes it easy to swap into your current workflow, whether you
are refining precious metals, smoothing dental alloys, or polishing glass and ceramics.

The high-quality, abrasive-impregnated rubber is engineered for durability and heat resistance. It provides enough
'give' to conform to the unique contours of your workpiece while remaining firm enough to remove surface
imperfections efficiently. The result is a smooth, satin-ready surface that significantly reduces the time needed
for final high-gloss buffing.

Fitting the tool bit

The shank of the rotary cutter is securely locked in place by fitting
it in the corresponding collet or making use of a keyless chuck.

For improved engraving accuracy, make use of a flexible
shaft connected to the rotary engraver.

Rotation speed:

Most rotary tools have the benefit to adjust the rotation speed. Many tool bits that fit in rotary tools have a maximum speed setting. This can normally be found on the packaging.

All materials react differently to speed and will need the tool bit to rotate slower.
It is recommended to start using accessories on the slower speed first, before increasing the speed as needed.

The diameter of the tool bit fitted also determines the rotation speed. The larger the diameter, the slower the speed. If the speed is set too high, it could bend the shank/shaft resulting in injury.
