Mini Rubber Polishing Point

Shank Diameter: Ø2.4mm
Tip Diameter: Ø6.4mm
Shape: Sharp Point

This Mini Rubber Polishing Point is defined by its specialized sharp point geometry, making it the ultimate tool for
high-precision detailing and reaching the most difficult areas of a workpiece. The elongated, conical shape tapers
to a fine tip, allowing you to access deep grooves, tight inside corners, and intricate filigree that standard
shapes simply cannot reach.

With a 6.4mm tip diameter at its widest base, this point provides a versatile working surface that transitions from
broad smoothing at the bottom to surgical precision at the apex. This makes it particularly effective for cleaning
up solder joints or refining the interior textures of cast jewelry and complex industrial molds.

The tool is integrated with a 2.4mm shank, the industry-standard size for professional rotary tools and micromotors.
This ensures a secure, vibration-free fit, allowing for the steady hand required when performing delicate surface
corrections on precious metals, glass, or hard resins.

Engineered from a premium rubber compound impregnated with fine abrasives, this sharp point offers a 'cushioned'
touch that prevents over-grinding. It effectively removes minor imperfections and prepares surfaces for a final
high-luster finish, all while maintaining its pointed profile through extended use to ensure consistent results from
start to finish.

Fitting the tool bit

The shank of the rotary cutter is securely locked in place by fitting
it in the corresponding collet or making use of a keyless chuck.

For improved engraving accuracy, make use of a flexible
shaft connected to the rotary engraver.

Rotation speed:

Most rotary tools have the benefit to adjust the rotation speed. Many tool bits that fit in rotary tools have a maximum speed setting. This can normally be found on the packaging.

All materials react differently to speed and will need the tool bit to rotate slower.
It is recommended to start using accessories on the slower speed first, before increasing the speed as needed.

The diameter of the tool bit fitted also determines the rotation speed. The larger the diameter, the slower the speed. If the speed is set too high, it could bend the shank/shaft resulting in injury.
