Mini Tungsten Carbide Cutter

Tip Diameter: Ø3.2mm
Shank Diameter: Ø3.2mm
Shape: Round Point

Achieve unparalleled precision in your detailing work with the 3.2mm Mini Tungsten Carbide Round Point Cutter. This
versatile bit features a unique round point shape, also known as a ball-nose or radius-end cylinder, which combines
the straight-edge cutting power of a cylinder with a smooth, curved tip. This geometry is specifically engineered
for carving U-shaped grooves, rounding off sharp internal corners, and performing intricate 3D contouring where a
flat-bottomed tool would be too aggressive.

Designed for seamless operation, the 3.2mm tip diameter is perfectly aligned with the 3.2mm shank, providing a slim
and balanced profile. This 1:1 ratio ensures excellent tool-to-workpiece visibility and fits effortlessly into
standard rotary tools and high-speed handpieces. The precision-ground shank minimizes runout, allowing for smooth,
chatter-free material removal even at the high speeds required for professional-grade engraving and finishing.

Forged from industrial-grade tungsten carbide, this cutter is built to outlast traditional steel bits by a
significant margin. Its incredible hardness allows it to bite into the toughest materialsâ"including stainless steel,
cast iron, hardwoods, and reinforced plasticsâ"while maintaining a sharp edge under extreme heat. The specialized
flute geometry is designed to clear debris rapidly, ensuring that the tool remains cool and efficient during
prolonged carving or deburring sessions.

This round point carbide burr is a favorite among mold makers, custom jewelers, and automotive enthusiasts for its
ability to create fluid transitions and organic shapes. Whether you are porting an engine intake, hollowing out a
delicate wood carving, or refining a metal sculpture, this tool provides the perfect blend of aggressive cutting
power and refined finishing capability for any high-stakes project.

Fitting the tool bit

The shank is securely locked in place by fitting
it in the corresponding collet or making use of a keyless chuck.

For improved accuracy, make use of a flexible
shaft connected to the rotary tool.

Rotation speed:

Most rotary tools have the benefit to adjust the rotation speed. Many tool bits that fit in rotary tools have a maximum speed setting. This can normally be found on the packaging.

All materials react differently to speed and will need the tool bit to rotate slower.
It is recommended to start using accessories on the slower speed first, before increasing the speed as needed.

The diameter of the tool bit fitted also determines the rotation speed. The larger the diameter, the slower the speed. If the speed is set too high, it could bend the shank/shaft resulting in injury.
