Staple Gun Tips

Loading the staples:

• Pull back the magazine release lever.
• Insert a string of staples into the channel with the staple legs facing downward.
• Push back the magazine such that it secures the staples in place.

How to remove a jammed staple:

• Open the magazine and remove the staples.
• Check for obstructions.
• Use a plier or screwdriver to remove the jammed staple or nail.
• Reload the staple gun.

Safety

• Wear eye protection when stapling or nailingfasteners can ricochet or fragments may eject.
• Keep fingers well clear of the firing nose and hold the tool square to the workpiece before pulling the trigger.
• Do not staple into areas where hidden wiring or pipes may be present.
• If a fastener jams, release pressure, open the magazine carefully and clear the jam before continuing.
