Total Recall contains Centella asiatica (commonly known in India as

Brahmi). Brahmi is a herb traditionally used in Ayurveda (Ayurvedic system)

as a brain tonic to enhance memory and improve cognitive functioning.

Scientific studies show Brahmi to have brain cell (neuronal dendric)

growth stimulating properties(1), to repair damaged neurons(2) and to

have neuroprotective effects against oxidative stress(3). Studies have also

shown Brahmi to contain two main active ingredients: Bacosides A and

B. These molecules have neuro-biological activities that increase protein

kinase activity (enzyme) and protein synthesis, specifically in brain cells.

These and other studies indicate that Brahmi can facilitate memory,

learning and concentration. Clinical and in-vitro studies show Brahmi to

substantially reduce anxiety and decrease the response to stressors (4)(5).

Brahmi also has very potent antioxidant activity and can assist in promoting
