Wow, this is something very very rare and very special, and best of all it seems to work. It is a late 1800's Bronze / brass, very Art Nouveau style yarn winding machine. I put rubber bands where the antique belts would have been and it worked. The yarn gets threaded onto the top part in a special way and then the machine winds it into a ball ready for use. There is actually a video on the net about how to thread and use one very similar to the one listed and that is the only one on the internet all the rest are very different and mostly made out of wood.
This item is very heavy and large so postage would be 150.00, size 41cms h, 22cms l and 18cms w.
