These phones are designed to survive accidents, drops and severe weather conditions. I personally drove my car over one phone, absolutely no damage occurred to the phone.The phone was dropped onto a cement floor from 2m+ height,the same phone was then thrown against a brick wall. The little cover came off,we snapped it back on and were able to use the phone immediately.It is still in use today. Because the little cover came off we decided not to do the water resistance test.
