The Tourism Tattler Trade Journal is a practical source of information for the travel and tourism trade in Africa and for those who seek to do business with the travel trade in Africa.
The Editorial Policy ensures that the Tourism Tattler will provide editorial information on a wide variety of tourism, hospitality and business related topics, thus providing the tourism trade with a better understanding of tourism issues, legislation and legal issues that impact on tourism and explanations of marketing and business principles that may help them to become knowledgeable and credible providers of services to tourists who visit the Southern Africa region.
The Tourism Tattler further aims to be as representative of the Southern Africa tourism trade as possible. This is achieved by providing editorial content that encompasses information from relevant industry experts, trade associations and government departments.
Editorial space is provided to members states of the Regional Tourism Organisation of Southern Africa (RETOSA) which includes Angola, Botswana, DR Congo, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Seychelles, Swaziland, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
Exclusions:
The value excludes origination of pre-press advertising material, which must be supplied. The space may not be exchanged for cash but may be transferred to another party.
Validity:
The space must be booked on or before any one of the monthly editorial deadlines during either 2013 or 2014, the dates for which may accessed in the Media Pack, downloadable via the Tourism Tattler Website.
SATSA TERMS AND CONDITIONS: - As the validity of SATSA member product vouchers vary between 6 to 12 and even 24 months from date of issue, it is important that the purchaser checks the validity, and any special booking exclusion dates applicable to each auction offer, prior to purchase.
- All vouchers are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- All vouchers are strictly subject to availability and terms are not standard, so familiarize yourself with the Terms and Conditions applicable to each product and book well in advance and indicate ‘SATSA bidorbuy Auction’ on the reservation that you will make directly with the product owners.
- To redeem your vouchers and book, please contact the reservation departments directly, quoting ‘SATSA bidorbuy Auction’ and reference numbers where applicable and please be so kind to take with you the original voucher that will be mailed to you by SATSA to present it to the reception on your arrival.
- All additional expenses accrued that are not included on the prize vouchers will have to be settled in full on departure.
- The winning bid will be considered a purchase contract between SATSA and the successful bidder and the winning bid amount will be payable within 14 days from the closing date of the auction.
- Should payment not be received within 14 days, SATSA reserves the right to cancel the purchase contract and place the product back on auction
