Osborn later discovers an old Goblin hideout, restoring his memory again. However, seeing his son Harry hospitalized from a drug overdose triggers another bout of amnesia. Eventually, his memories are fully restored, and he kidnaps Gwen Stacy, leading to her tragic death during Spider-Man's rescue attempt. In a final confrontation, Spider-Man battles the Goblin, resulting in Osborn's death by his own goblin glider.
