A low carbon rutile steel electrode. Weld in all positions (excepts vertical down ). Smooth arc transfer leaves low splatter levels, excellent bead shape & good slag removal. Applications: Single and mutli pass welding of matching molbdenum contect bearing stainless steel such as 301, 302, 303, 304, and 304L types. The 2.5% molybdenum content has increased resistanc to pitting, corrosion & raises the creep strength for higher temperature applications.
