This traditional Xhosa mens long sleeve top or shirt is made of the traditional Xhosa fabric iBayi, which is 100% cotton in the uMbhaco style. It has braiding in black shoelace braid and the traditional beading colours used are turquoise blue, white, red and black, however you are welcome to request beading in other colours.

The shirts are slip on shirts (they do not have buttons down the front) and have length sleeves. You are also welcome to request a button front and full length/short sleeve options. iBayi fabric is available in the colours white, cream, red, blue, black, mustard and orange. 

All products made by Iza Crafts are made to order, please allow 10 days for completion of your order.

• If your shirt size is outside of the 34-44 options listed on this item we are still able to make the item for you, just select the size closest to you and when checking out you will be able to write us a personal note informing us of the size you need the clothing made in.
• The four beading styles offered are Mfengu Clan Style, Sailor Style, Wave Crest and Transkei Diamonds. You are welcome to submit your own drawing if your prefer beading in other patterns, please be aware that if the amount of beads used is more than in the styles offered here, that you will be charged accordingly.
• Iza Crafts employs many seamstresses and rural beaders to make these beautifully hand crafted, high quality, traditional African garments.
