Traditional Small Vintage Shisham/Sheesham Wooden Brass Inlaid Box Made in India
Beautiful Indian made traditional Shisham wood box with brass inlays. Dalbergia sissoo, known commonly as North Indian rosewood or shisham, is a fast-growing, hardy, deciduous rosewood tree native to the Indian subcontinent and southern Iran. This lovely little box was handmade by artisans in India and has two stickers on the base, one of which stated that it was made in India. The box is in an excellent vintage condition with no damage to report.
It measures approximately 5.6 cm X 3.5 cm X 1.8 cm.
